Grief and Healing
Losing a loved one may be the most painful experience in life. When a loved one passes away, trying to balance the continued reality of daily life in the wake of tremendous loss can be a very difficult experience. It is important to remember that at the time of death, we are surrounded by individual and a community of believers wanting to express comfort and consolation.
“So we do not lose heart. Even though our outer nature is wasting away, our inner nature is being renewed day by day. For this slight momentary affliction is preparing us for an eternal weight of glory beyond all measure, because we look not at what can be seen but at what cannot be seen; for what can be seen is temporary, but what cannot be seen is eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:16-18
