Springfield Funeral Home recognize the faith of the Sikh community and will do our utmost to ensure your loved one and the remaining family receive the utmost in care.
ਸਪਰਿੰਗਫੀਲਡ ਫਿਊਨਰਲ ਹੋਮ ਸਿੱਖ ਭਾਈਚਾਰੇ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਰਧਾ ਤੋਂ ਜਾਣੂ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਪੱਕਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਵੱਧ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਕੀ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਹੋਵੇ।
Washing, dressing and viewing will be scheduled for the afternoon prior to the funeral date. The funeral director, along with the Priest, will be present at all times during the washing and dressing for guidance and assistance. Water, gloves and disposable aprons will be provided by Springfield towels and oils if desired

- Family will instruct the Funeral Director regarding open or closed casket during the funeral service
- ਪਰਿਵਾਰ, ਫਿਊਨਰਲ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਸੰਸਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਸਰਵਿਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਬਕਸਾ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹਾ ਰੱਖਣਾ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਬੰਦ ਰੱਖਣਾ ਹੈ
- Head coverings (Rumal) are provided by Springfield Funeral Home for the funeral service. Open seating will be available in our Auditorium for up to 200 guests.
- ਸੰਸਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਸਰਵਿਸ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਸਿਰ ਢਕਣ ਲਈ ਰੁਮਾਲ ਸਪਰਿੰਗਫੀਲਡ ਫਿਊਨਰਲ ਹੋਮ ਵਲੋਂ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਸਾਡੇ ਆਡੋਟੋਰੀਅਮ ਵਿਚ 200 ਮਹਿਮਾਨਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਲਈ ਸੀਟਾਂ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ।
- Those who wish to pay tribute and respects to the loved one may place rose flower petals inside the casket during visitation prayers. Flower petals are provided by the family. If you would like the funeral home to have flower petals available, please let your Director know.
- ਿਹੜੇ ਲੋਕ ਆਪਣੇ ਅਜ਼ੀਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਂਜਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਮੁਲਾਕਾਤ ਦੀਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾਵਾਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਕਾਸਕੇਟ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਗੁਲਾਬ ਦੇ ਫੁੱਲਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਪੱਤੀਆਂ ਰੱਖ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ। ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਫੁੱਲਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਪੱਤੀਆਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਜੇਕਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਅੰਤਿਮ-ਸੰਸਕਾਰ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਫੁੱਲਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਪੱਤੀਆਂ ਉਪਲਬਧ ਹੋਣ, ਤਾਂ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਕ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸੋ।
- Family may choose to display memorabilia and picture boards in the lobby. The funeral director will guide this process.
- ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਲੌਬੀ ਵਿਚ ਯਾਦਗਾਰੀ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਤਸਵੀਰਾਂ ਦਿਖਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਕੰਮ ਵਿਚ ਫਿਊਨਰਲ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਸੇਧ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।
- Sikh recorded prayers will be played prior to the service as guests arrive. Audio/Visual elements are available for the service as requested and arranged.
- ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਉਣ ਵੇਲੇ ਸਰਵਿਸ ਦੇ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਰਿਕਾਰਡ ਕੀਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਚੱਲਣਗੇ। ਆਖਣ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਕਰਨ `ਤੇ ਸਰਵਿਸ ਲਈ ਆਡਿਓ/ਵਿਜ਼ੂਅਲ ਉਪਲਬਧ ਹਨ।
- Family may decide to have guests view the loved one after the service followed by a private family viewing. Once the casket has been closed the Priest, casket and immediate family will move to the crematorium on our lower level.
- ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਇਹ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵਲੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਈਵੇਟ ਵਿਚ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਸਰਵਿਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਣ। ਬਕਸਾ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜਾਣ `ਤੇ, ਭਾਈ ਜੀ, ਬਕਸਾ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦੇ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਸਾਡੀ ਹੇਠਲੀ ਫਲੋਰ `ਤੇ ਕ੍ਰੀਮੇਟੋਰੀਅਮ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਗੇ।
- Cremation will follow the funeral service. Priest to conduct a Cremation service with the family. Once Cremation Service is complete family will join other guests and make their way to the service at the Sikh Temple.
- ਸੰਸਕਾਰ ਲਈ ਸਰਵਿਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਸੰਸਕਾਰ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਭਾਈ ਜੀ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਸਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਅਰਦਾਸ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਸੰਸਕਾਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਹੋਰ ਮਹਿਮਾਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਿੱਖ ਟੈਂਪਲ ਵਿਚ ਭੋਗ ਲਈ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
- Most families take loved ones remains back to India. The funeral Director will ensure the Urn chosen and all required travel documents are provided. The loved ones urn may be safely stored at Springfield Funeral Home for a time to accommodate travel arrangements back to India.
- ਬਹੁਤੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਅਸਥੀਆਂ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਫਿਊਨਰਲ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਇਹ ਪੱਕਾ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਕਲਸ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਫ਼ਰ ਲਈ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋੜੀਂਦੇ ਪੇਪਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਪਿਆਰੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਅਸਥੀਆਂ ਵਾਲਾ ਕਲਸ, ਇੰਡੀਆ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਪਸ ਜਾਣ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੱਕ ਸਪਰਿੰਗਫੀਲਡ ਫਿਊਨਰਲ ਹੋਮ ਵਿਚ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਨਾਲ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।

The funeral Director will ensure the Urn chosen and all required travel documents are provided. The loved ones urn may be safely stored at Springfield Funeral Home for a period of time to accommodate travel arrangements.
- ਬਹੁਤੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਅਸਥੀਆਂ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਵਾਪਸ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਜਾਂ ਨੇੜੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਵਗਦੇ ਦਰਿਆ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਫਿਊਨਰਲ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਇਹ ਪੱਕਾ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਕਲਸ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਫ਼ਰ ਲਈ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋੜੀਂਦੇ ਪੇਪਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਪਿਆਰੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਅਸਥੀਆਂ ਵਾਲਾ ਕਲਸ, ਸਫ਼ਰ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੱਕ ਸਪਰਿੰਗਫੀਲਡ ਫਿਊਨਰਲ ਹੋਮ ਵਿਚ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਨਾਲ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
